Incredible Years
Incredible Years is an evidenced based programme for parents, children, teachers and early childhood educators aimed to prevent and treat young children’s behavioral problems and promote their social, emotional and academic competence.
Clare Local Development Company plays an important role in the roll out of the Incredible Years Programme from 0-12 years.
We have trained preschool staff in 16 childcare centres in our designated communities.
Our focus going forward is to provide ongoing information, training and peer support to the IY facilitators.
Our Incredible Years Pre-school sites include Ennis, Newmarket on Fergus, Ennistymon, Killaloe and Shannon.
