The Waters of LIFE is an EU funded project which aims to protect and enhance Ireland’s cleanest rivers. One of the areas in which the project will be working is the Graney catchment on the Clare / Galway border.

Drop-in consultations on the Waters of LIFE project will be held in Flagmount Digital Hub (beside Flagmount Community Hall and National School) from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 30th July and Thursday 1st August.

The purpose of these events is to update landowners and the local community on the assessment of the Graney catchment, and to get local information and opinions about the river.
All are welcome to attend. For further information, contact John Kelly at johnX.kelly@housing.gov.ie
