Clare Local Development Company wish to recruit a Manager for our Cairde Beag community childcare centre and our Glebe House family and community hub, in Kilrush, West Clare.

The Manager will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality care and learning opportunities for Cairde Beag children and for the management of the adjoining Glebe House family and community hub. For Cairde Beag, they will be tasked with the oversight of daily operations, oversight of curriculum, programme planning, ensuring policies and procedures are followed by staff; the support and professional development of staff, reporting and documentation. They will also be responsible for day-to-day budgetary management with the support of CLDC finance staff. The management of Glebe House will involve oversight of the facility and the day-to-day operations/activities taking place.

Summer Program Coordinator for Children & Young People

Clare Local Development Company are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to
co-ordinate Summer Programmes for Children and Young People.

This contract is for five days a week for a three month period (June, July, August) and would be best suited to people with experience of working with children and young people and with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.

A background in teaching, Youth Work or similar disciplines would be an advantage.

Salary would be commensurate with experience.

CLDC is establishing a panel of suitably qualified candidates to fill current and future Caseworker vacancies. The Caseworker is part of a multi-disciplinary team providing high quality one-to-one guidance, mediation, advice, job placement and aftercare service to people most distant from the labour market, to enable them to progress to employment.
