The project explored sustainability with primary and secondary school students, by connecting climate science, futures thinking, individual lifestyle choices and environmental impacts.

Sustainable Energy Communities

We’ve supported many local communities around Clare to address their Energy needs in a more sustainable way. One example is here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19dsT5WXbC/

Our Ruan Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) has been busy and recently organised a local farm visit to raise awareness of Solar PV on the farm. A local farmer with solar PV hosted the event and the installer came along to explain the entire system – the panels, the inverter and the battery. Farmers can avail of a 60% TAMS grant for Solar PV.
