Are you passionate about community development, inclusion, and positive change in County Clare? Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) is currently recruiting for a new team member to help us continue our work empowering people and supporting communities across the county.

Current Opening: Community Development Officer

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of community needs, experience working with diverse groups, and a genuine commitment to inclusion, sustainability, and equality.

About the Role

As Community Development Officer, you will work directly with local groups and individuals to deliver support, guidance, and resources that build stronger, more resilient communities. You’ll play an active role in facilitating training, supporting local initiatives, and helping people access opportunities that can transform lives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in community development or a related field
  • A strong understanding of inclusion, equality, and empowerment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to working across multiple programmes

Location:

This is a full-time role based in County Clare, with hybrid working options available.
