Three weeks left: Is your community group missing out on up to €2,500?
Community groups, social enterprises, and local organisations across County Clare have until Tuesday, 3 June 2026 to apply for grants of between €500 and €2,500 through the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP). Administered locally by Clare Local Development Company, the fund is designed to make a tangible difference to grassroots projects in communities across the county.
Who is eligible:
The grant is open to local community organisations, community gardens, and social enterprises operating in Clare. SICAP is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the European Social Fund Plus, and is targeted specifically at groups working with disadvantaged communities and individuals.
What it can fund:
- Equipment and materials for community projects
- Activities or events that address social inclusion
- Development costs for community gardens
- Social enterprises at various stages of operation
