Webinar on Corporate Governance & Charity Structures, part of the Connecting Clare Communities – Where Local Groups Learn, Connect and Grow programme.

This online session will provide a practical introduction to governance and charity structures for community groups. It is designed as an accessible starting point, offering useful insights to help groups better understand their roles, responsibilities, and options when it comes to governance.

The webinar is part of the wider Connecting Clare Communities programme, a free training and mentoring initiative delivered by Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) in association with Levie Consulting and funded through the LEADER Programme. The programme is shaped by local groups and offers practical learning, mentoring, and opportunities to connect with others across the county.

Speaker:
Cormac McCarthy, former Chairperson of Ennis Tidy Towns and current Chairperson of the Clare Memories Project, brings extensive experience in volunteer engagement and governance, and is a strong advocate for best practice in supporting community organisations.
