Traditional Skills Days for Clare Community Groups – This programme is designed to build practical traditional and heritage skills within Clare communities and to support groups to bring those skills back into their own local settings for community benefit. Funded by the LEADER programme through CLDC and Common Knowledge. Learn the traditional craft of dry stone walling at this hands-on training day delivered at The Common Knowledge Centre in Kilfenora. Participants will gain practical skills in selecting and placing stone, building stable structures without mortar, and maintaining traditional stone walls that are a defining feature of the Irish landscape.
