East Clare Community Energy Event Comes to Mountshannon

Following the strong turnout at the recent Newmarket-on-Fergus Community Energy Event, the focus now moves to East Clare.

Mountshannon Community Hall will host the SEAI Community Energy Event on Thursday, 21 May at 7pm, offering local residents an opportunity to learn more about home energy upgrades, renewable energy supports, grant funding, and practical ways communities can work together to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.

Speaking on Clare FM, Denise O’Brien, SEC Mentor with Clare Local Development Company, and Fiona Levie of the Mountshannon SEC Committee discussed the importance of community-led climate action and how local engagement can help households and communities reduce energy costs while building a more sustainable future.

The event is open to all, and community members are encouraged to attend and explore the supports and opportunities available through SEAI initiatives.
