Connecting Clare Communities: Free Training to Strengthen Local Groups

Community groups across County Clare are invited to take part in Connecting Clare Communities, a free training and mentoring programme supporting local organisations to grow, collaborate, and thrive. Delivered by Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) in partnership with Levie Consulting and funded through the LEADER Programme, this initiative offers practical workshops and ongoing mentoring to strengthen community capacity across the county.

The first in-person workshop takes place on:

Interactive Session Led By Geraldine Lavin

This interactive session, shaped by feedback from CLDC’s recent consultation and online survey with community groups, will offer hands-on guidance in identifying funding opportunities and crafting strong applications.

Leading the session is Geraldine Lavin, an experienced management consultant, educator, and facilitator with over 30 years’ experience supporting community organisations, businesses, and public sector bodies. Geraldine brings a wealth of knowledge from working with bodies such as Local Enterprise Offices, SOLAS, Skillnet Ireland, and universities nationwide.
