CLDC & Ennis Women’s Community Group Coffee Morning Supporting MS Ireland
Clare Local Development Company held a Coffee Morning on Thursday in support of MS Ireland, bringing staff, participants and members of the community together to raise funds for the charity.
The event included a raffle, with a selection of handmade prizes generously provided by the Ennis Women’s Community Group. The prizes showcased some of the group’s creative work, including clothing, accessories and other craft items made using traditional skills and upcycled materials.
The Ennis Women’s Community Group, who are supported by Clare Local Development Company’s SICAP Programme, is an active local organisation that brings women together to share skills, build connections and reduce social isolation. The group upcycles wool from Aran Woollen Mills, transforming it into distinctive clothing and accessories, while members also create a wide variety of arts and crafts products.
The group held a pop-up shop at Clare Local Development Company’s offices on Thursday, giving visitors the opportunity to browse and purchase its handmade items while learning more about its work in the local community.
All donations from Clare LDC’s Coffee Morning will go directly to MS Ireland, supporting people living with multiple sclerosis and their families. Anyone who would like to support the fundraising effort can donate through the online page: Fundraising Page – MS Ireland.
Small acts of community support can make a meaningful difference.
